Corzine makes more appointments

On his way to Switzerland yesterday, Gov. Jon Corzine made some more direct appointments: Michellene Davis, the governor’s chief policy counsel, to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA); Commissioner of Children and Family Services Kim Ricketts to the Council on Local Mandates; Mercer County Democratic Chairman Richard McClellan to the Mandated Health Benefits Advisory Commission; Bill Collins, who lost a bid for State Assembly in the fourth district, to the Camden County Health Services Center Board of Trustees; Paterson Councilman Jeffrey Jones and Camden County Freeholder Riletta Cream to the Martin Luther King Commission; and Camden Mayor (and former State Senator) Dana Redd to the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners. – just in case Redd has some extra time on her hands.
