Chuck Schumer sent a statement earlier about the Supreme Court ruling that lifts the ban on corporate contributions, and here’s one from junior Senator Kirsten Gillibrand:
I have always strongly believed that elections should be decided by the people, not by the special interests of corporate America. This decision is a major setback that tilts the playing field away from everyday voters in the favor of big corporations.
