In an email to supporters just now, Gillibrand said, “I have fought tooth and nail for President Obama’s health care bill, which will provide coverage for 2.7 million New Yorkers.”

Opposing the health care legislation is one of the things that reportedly angered Michael Bloomberg and could be a major talking point for her opponent, Harold Ford Jr.
