In New Jersey, Obama approvals get better

A new Quinnipiac University poll has President Barack Obama with a 55%-40% approval rating in New Jersey, slightly better than his 51%-40% on November 24.  Obama is at 53%-41% among independents, 57%-39% among union households, and 56%-40% among families with children in public schools.  He’s at 86%-11% among Democrats, 16%-80% among Republicans, 53%-41% among men, 57%-37% among women, 45%-50% among Whites, and 89%-7% among Blacks.
