Mayor Booker has an agent

Newark Mayor Cory Booker, facing criticism by a group of The College of New Jersey students for taking a $10,000 speakers fee for a campus appearance last October, has an agent to help him obtain paid speaking gigs. Booker has signed on with Greater Talent Network (GTN), a Manhattan firm that also arranges paid public appearances for other celebrities, including Tiki Barber, Michael Moore, and Leonard Nimoy .  Booker is the only incumbent elected official on the GTN talent roster.

GTN says possible Booker topics include:  “How to Change the World with Your Bare Hands,” “Bridging the Divide: The Strengths and Challenges of Diversity in America,” “The New Guard: Black Leadership in the New Millennium,” and “Corporate Responsibility and Community Involvement.”
