Quinnipiac: Lautenberg and Menendez

U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg has a 46%-42% approval rating, while U.S. Senator Robert Menendez is at 41%-41%, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released this morning.  Both Senators are upside-down among independents: Lautenberg at 41%-47%, and Menendez at 40%-44%.  Menendez is up for re-election in 2012 and Lautenberg in 2014.

Lautenberg was at 40%-41% in November; Menendez was at 36%-37%.

Lautenberg is at 46%-47% among men, 47%-37% among women, 41%-48% among White voters, 67%-20% among Black voters, 53%-34% among union households, and 47%-41% among households with school age children.  Menendez is at 40%-48% among men, 43%-35% among women, 33%-48% among White voters, 65%-22% among Black voters, 45%-36% among union households, and 43%-44% among public school households.
