Report: Booker charges college students $10k for speech

Newark Mayor Cory Booker charged students at The College of New Jersey an $10,000 honorarium to make a speech last October, according to a report that appeared in a TCNJ online news magazine.  The funds, which came from the Student Government Association, were paid to Booker personally, according to the story.  Booker reportedly gets $20,000 for a speech, but was willing to give TCNJ a better rate because of the school’s proximity to Newark.
