The State Assembly will meet at 1PM so that Gilbert “Whip” Wilson can be sworn in as an Assemblyman from the fifth district.  Wilson, a Camden City Councilman, won a January 16 special election convention to replace Assemblyman Donald Norcross (D-Camden), who was elected to fill a vacant State Senate seat.

The Assembly Budget Committee has scheduled a 10AM meeting.  David Rosen, the Legislative Budget and Finance Officer, is scheduled to update the panel on the status of the FY2010 budget and discuss the outlook for the FY2011 budget.  Rosen is also expected to review the impact of economic developments on New Jersey’s tax revenues and budget. Additionally, the Committee has invited representatives of New Jersey’s local governments to discuss the impact of the economy on their budgets and their taxpayers.
