When did we become such an unforgiving people?

Former Senate President Richard Codey (D-Roseland) has been given seats on two Senate committees: Labor and Economic Growth.  Labor is chaired by Frederick Madden (D-Washington Twp.) and Economic Growth by Raymond Lesniak (D-Elizabeth), both part of the coalition that helped Stephen Sweeney (D-West Deptford) oust Codey from his leadership post.  Codey, a former governor and the most senior member of the Senate Democratic Caucus, was not given a chairmanship.  In the Assembly, Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing), unsuccessful in her bid for Speaker and replaced as Majority Leader, was also not offered a committee chair.
