Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner is saying that he will back Union City Mayor/State Sen. Brian Stack for Hudson County Democratic Chairman, if Jerramiah Healy does not seek re-election to the post. Turner is a close ally of U.S. Rep. Albio Sires (D-West New York) — he serves as Sires’ District Director – so it’s a fair assumption that if Turner is for Stack, Sires is too.
