Beldini guilty on two of six counts

Stripper-turned-politician Leona Beldini was convicted on two counts of federal corruption charges, and acquitted on four others, according to a Jersey Journal report. Beldini was the Deputy Mayor of Jersey City until her arrest last July.  According to the newspaper, the 74-year-old Bedlini, who was Mayor Jerramiah Healy’s campaign treasurer, was found guilty of two counts of acceptance of things of value to influence and reward.  She was found  not guilty of conspiracy to commit extortion under the color of official right, attempted extortion under the color of official right and one count of acceptance of things of value to influence and reward.
