After more than four hours of questioning, the Senate Judiciary Committee today released the nomination of Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff as State Treasurer by a 12-1 vote. State Sen. Loretta Weinberg (D-Teaneck) voted against the nomination. The nomination now heads to the full Senate. Eristoff, a former New York City Councilman who held posts in the administrations of Gov. George Pataki and Mayor Rudy Giuliani, has been serving as Acting State Treasurer since Gov. Christopher Christie took office last month.
