O’Toole gets Judiciary Committee seat

State Sen. Kevin O’Toole (R-Cedar Grove) has been named to the Senate Judiciary Committee.  He will replace Bill Baroni (R-Hamilton), who is leaving the Senate to become the Deputy Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

“Senator O’Toole will be an invaluable asset to the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is an accomplished attorney who possesses the leadership ability and the skills to accurately evaluate gubernatorial nominees,” said Senate Minority Leader Thomas Kean, Jr. (R-Westfield), who made the appointment.  “As a member of both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee he will be in the forefront as we enter this extremely challenging period in state history.” O’Toole gets Judiciary Committee seat
