Politifax editor Nick Acocella has been one Joseph Doria’s staunchest defenders since his home and office and office were raided on the same July day that the feds charged dozens New Jersey public officials with corruption..
So Acocella was not surprised to read this morning’s Star-Ledger column by Bob Braun, which revealed that the late Jack Shaw never gave Doria the money that was intended for him from FBI informant Solomon Dwek.
“I think everybody involved owes Joe Doria an apology. A public apology,” Acocella told PolitickerNJ.com’s Matt Friedman. “That’s all I have to say.”
Acocella preferred not to go into detail because he plans to tackle the topic at length in tomorrow morning’s Politifax.
