Fashion Week! A time for luxury, taste, exclusivity and brightly colored sweatshirts—according to Glamour, at least. Writes Women’s Wear Daily:
The fashion title had 100 people from Broadway Dance do a routine, clad in brightly colored Glamour sweatshirts, right next to the Tents at Bryant Park as part of the second phase of its “Live for Glamour” branding campaign. The dancers then moved to the Condé Nast cafeteria at 4 Times Square, followed by Bloomingdale’s on 59th Street.
This was not without its hazards. Page Six reports the travails of Condé Nast chairman Si Newhouse, who found himself caught amid the festivity:
Newhouse maneuvered around a line of 100 Broadway hoofers wearing Glamour-branded T-shirts and hats to get back to his usual booth in the cafeteria. Then he bobbed his head along to the routine set to‘s “Just Dance.”
