Conan O’Brien is hitting the road for 30 tour dates while he waits out the NBC settlement that prevents him from hosting another show until the fall.
“The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour” will help build buzz for Mr. O’Brien’s next venture, and might help convince Fox execs that the host–despite his relatively poor showing at NBC–could actually make them some money. “If the programming people can show us we can do it . . . and make a profit, we would do it in a flash,” said Rupert Murdoch last month.
The tour comes to Radio City on June 1. In the meantime, Mr. O’Brien is changing lives on Twitter.
