BusinessWeek, the flailing magazine reborn after being purchased by Bloomberg last year, is about to be re-reborn. There’s a big redesign in the works, and, oh yes, a bunch of layoffs. Keith Kelly of the Post reports that it’s in for “a sweeping restructuring that will see many of the magazine’s editorial staff reassigned within Bloomberg LP”–about 30 employees can expect to lose their jobs. The plan is to take care of all this messiness during the magazine’s off-week, following a double issue, and things are going “hastily” according to Kelly’s sources.
