Well, City Hall News is certainly in the April Fool’s spirit. Not to spoil the surprise too much, but they’ve got five spirited articles up on their site right now. (The authors’ names are particularly good.)
The one that landed in my inbox this morning–“Paterson Prepares Gillibrand Challenge”–sort of proves how hard it is (or how easy, depending on how you look at it) to make an April Fool’s Day joke about the bizarre world of New York politics, where anything seems possible.
I mean, “Hiram Monserrate To Run for Expelled Senate Seat on Yes We Can Party Line” is pretty funny too, right?
