New York City is home to almost a third of the country’s top-grossing restaurants, according to Restaurants & Institutions‘ rankings.
In fact, it appears that New York’s restaurants can rake in dollars even as they flounder: the stricken Tavern on the Green comes in at number two. And Craftsteak, now revamped as “Colicchio & Sons,” is number 19.
