State Senator Eric Schneiderman, who is patiently exploring a run for attorney general, announced today he’s hired the consulting firm BerlinRosen.
“BerlinRosen is a top-notch firm that brings a wealth of talent and a proven track record to the team. With their help, we are moving this campaign forward to deliver the progressive change New Yorkers deserve,” Senator Schneiderman said in a press release.
The hire reunites Mr. Schneiderman with name partners Valerie Berlin–his former chief of staff–and Jonathan Rosen, who served as the campaign director for the Senate’s campaign committee when it picked up three seats in 2004.
The progressive firm also has ties to important labor groups, and counts among its clients the Working Families Party and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
