Yesterday, MSNBC host Ed Schultz sat on a panel at Al Sharpton’s Annual National Action Network, along with the likes of Liz Benjamin and Jonathan Capehart, to discuss  the topic of whether people of color are covered fairly in the media.

Along the way, Mr. Schultz (as seen in the video below, shot by my colleague Azi Paybarah) took issue with Jim Nantz’s recent criticism of Tiger Woods.

At one point, he also accused conservatives of controlling much of the media in this country. “We have to be very cognizant of the fact that 90 percent of the electronic media in this country is owned, operated, programmed and controlled by conservatives,” said Mr. Schultz.
