Flags will be flown at half-staff at state offices today in memory of Bob Franks, the former congressman and assemblyman who passed away last week. Gov. Christopher Christie signed an executive order on Wednesday directing the tribute.
Christie will speak at a memorial service for Franks at 11AM tomorrow at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, along with former Govs. Thomas Kean, Christine Todd Whitman and Jon Corzine, former U.S. Rep. John Kasich, former state Transportation Commissioner Roger Bodman, and former state budget director Alfred Fasola.
