Good news, fans of snarky news commentary! Last night Comedy Central announced that they signed an extension with Jon Stewart to host The Daily Show through June 2013. And here’s hoping one of the provisions allows for Mr. Stewart to get a new desk, since he seems none too happy with the current one.

Interestingly, Mr. Stewart’s partner in crime, Stephen Colbert, only got extended through December 2012. Still, that didn’t stop him from calling for the US Military to engage Iceland because of their unpronounceable volcano.
