All four Republicans on the Middletown Township Committee have endorsed newspaper publisher Diane Gooch for Congress in the sixth district. 

All four Republicans on the Middletown Township Committee have endorsed newspaper publisher Diane Gooch for Congress in the sixth district.  Gooch faces Highlands Mayor Anna Little, a former Monmouth County Freeholder, in the GOP primary for the chance to take on twelve-term U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone.

Mayor Gerry Scharfenberger, Deputy Mayor Tony Fiore, Committeeman Steve Massell and Committeewoman Pam Brightbill said today that they will back Gooch.

“Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to meet with Diane and discuss the issues that most concern our residents,” Scharfenberger said.  “I am confident that Diane will represent Middletown and the entire Congressional district with integrity and passion.”

Gooch has the organizational lines in Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
