The much-discussed, as-yet-untitled documentary about Eliot Spitzer premieres Saturday night, and Politico reports that the man himself might show up.
Mr. Spitzer hopes the film and a new book will end the intrigue over his scandal-ridden years, and that he’ll then be able to run for public office. And, of all things, he apparently wants to be comptroller.
Which would bring a little name recognition to the unsung office: Two-thirds of people don’t even know who Tom Dinapoli is. That apparently includes the president, who really butchered the comptroller’s name yesterday at Cooper Union.
