Media Mobsters John Koblin and Felix Gillette are on the road with Observer.com blogger Reid Pillifant to cover the White House Correspondents’ dinner in Washington this weekend. Koblin writes from the road:
Dispatch! We are currently at the Maryland House. Reid had to go! He got the large soda at Roy Rogers. Also, why didn’t we pack aspirin? We are just beyond Towson, Md. and getting close to The Observer‘s DC bureau in Takoma Park. Traffic is light. Tonight’s lineup: David Bradley’s House, the Time/People party and The New Yorker party. Afterparty: unknown. We suspect Steve Coll and Sy Hersh have a plan.
