Mayor Cory Booker is meeting with White House officials today in Washington, D.C., confirmed Desiree Peterkin Bell, director of communications for the mayor.
“No, it’s not a job interview,” said Bell, to a query about whether Booker was seeking an upward exit from Newark a week after winning re-election with 59% of the vote.
