TRENTON – The Assembly Appropriations Committee moments ago passed the milionaires’ tax bill, the spearpoint of their counter attack against Gov. Chris Christie’s no new taxes state budget proposal.
“The bill is voted out of committee,” announced Appropriations Committee Chair Nellie Pou.
Democrats unanimously backed moving the bill. Republicans to a person voted against it, with the exception of Assemblywoman Dawn Addiego (R-Burlington), who abstained.
