TRENTON – Provisional ballot counting has begun at the Mercer County Board of Elections Office on Broad Street, where three votes give an edge to DPW Director Eric Jackson over At-Large Councilman Manny Segura.
Former Mercer County Freeholder Tony Mack awaits the winner in a June runoff.
“My team is at the county office right now and I am awaiting word,” Jackson tells PolitickerNJ.com.
Backed by the City Hall allies of Mayor Doug Palmer, Jackson on Tuesday amassed 1,841 to Segura’s 1,838 votes.
