Steve Levy announced this morning he has the support of five state committee members from Columbia County.
It’s noteworthy because committee members are the ones who actually vote at the convention on whether Levy can appear on the ballot as a Republican. And, as the latest campaign video from Rick Lazio shows, counting committee members–not chairmen–is what really counts.
Vielkind has Lazio at 51.5 percent of the weighted vote, with Levy at 32.3 percent.
