TRENTON – At-Large Councilman Manny Segura awaits word from the Mercer County Board of Elections Office on the outcome of a provisional ballot count.
Segura now stands three votes shy of rival, DPW Director Eric Jackson, for a shot at a runoff against Tony Mack, the high vote getter in Tuesday’s election.
Backed by the City Hall allies of Mayor Doug Palmer, Jackson on Tuesday amassed 1,841 to Segura’s 1,838 votes.
“My guys are over there right now,” Segura tells PolitickerNJ.com. “”I’m figuring we will have a clearer vision in a couple of hours.”
