So far, N.J. has produced $16.2 million in federal campaign cash

New Jerseyans have contributed $16,220,928 in campaign contributions to federal candidates for the 2010 mid-term elections, the tenth largest campaign cash state in the nation, according to statistics compiled by OpenSecrets.org.  State residents have given $10,979,950 to Democrats and $5,199,810 to Republicans.  New Jersey ranks tenth for the Democrats nationally, and 21st for the GOP.
