Mercer County election officials will begin counting provisional ballots for the Trenton municipal elections at noon.  Just three votes separate two candidates vying for a spot in the June runoff election for mayor, and 141 ballots are expected to be counted.

Public Works Director Eric Jackson leads Councilman Manny Segura 1,841 to 1,838 after all of the machine votes were counted Tuesday night.  Both want the chance to take on former Mercer County Freeholder Tony Mack in the runoff.

Mercer County Superintendent of Elections Catherine DiCostanzo finished her review of provisional ballots this morning and has delivered them to the county Board of Elections for counting. Trenton ballots to be counted at noon
