Buono criticizes governor’s ‘choices’

TRENTON – State Sen. Barbara Buono (D-Metuchen) savages Gov. Chris Christie’s budget priorities.

No oversight of the Sports and Exposition Authority. No tax on millionaires.

“This is no holiday for working men and women who take the bus and train to work everyday,” who will pay $1,000 more per year in commuter costs as a consequence of budget cuts to New Jersey transportation, says Buono.

“This is no picnic for the worker,” she adds, “but a holiday in July for millionaires. …He got the right idea when it comes to cutting. He just made the wrong choices.”
