The New Yorker ran their much-anticipated “20 Under 40” list in this week’s issue–and now Farrar, Straus and Giroux has announced that they’ll be publishing a paperback anthology of the chosen ones. 20 Under 40: Stories from The New Yorker is due out in December, and will collect the previously unpublished stories that each of the twenty writers submitted.
Of course, FSG can already lay claim to a quarter of the list. “Coincidentally,” notes the release (dryly?), “Farrar, Straus and Giroux publishes five of the twenty writers”: Chris Adrian, David Bezmozgis, Rivka Galchen, C.E. Morgan, and Wells Tower.
