U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance (R-Lebanon) reported to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives after beating his challengers in the 7th District.
“I always campaign based on my record, and I knew my record of fiscal conservatism would prevail,” Lance told PolitickerNJ.com.
“What I take away from the race fundamentally is that we should embrace much greater fiscal responsibility and extend a hand of friendship to those in the Tea Party movement,” said Lance. “Campaigns are vigorous, but Republicans join together after a family discussion. There was uniformity among candidates that we have to have Republican control of the House of Represenatives. In November, independents will be voting for Republicans.”
