Mediabistro’s Laurel Touby, who has been on a sabbatical of sorts, traveling with her husband, former Businessweek columnist Jon Fine, is back in the office.
Ms. Touby made $23 million from her sale of the site in 2007. She sent the following email, announcing that she will be working two days a week, to her staff this morning.

Subject: She’s baaaaack!Hi everyone,
I’m back (finally) from my sabbatical, refreshed and psyched to be
seeing you more often. I am officially working 2 days a week, mostly
in the office, but that may also mean out of the office doing public
appearances, meetings outside the office, etc. I’ll be in touch with
Omer on a daily basis and he will know when I am in the office each
week.
This week, I’ll be in today after lunch, Wednesday and Thursday, 12-4 pm.
I can’t wait to catch up with everyone, meet the new people and
continue the important work we are doing.
Please stop by and say “hi.” Also, I’ll be doing a slide show of some
of the crazy photos I took while on the trip, once I’ve culled them
down to a manageable number.
