Sources: Cryan and Oliver prepared to vote aye on budget

Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver (D-East Orange) and Assembly Majority Leader Joe Cryan are prepared to vote aye on Gov. Chris Christie’s $29.4 billion budget, according to Democratic Party sources who caucused this afternoon in advance of today’s floor vote.

Six more Democrats are likewise ready to vote aye on the budget in an effort to provide eight Democratic votes to add to the Republicans’ projected 33 pro-budget votes.

They are Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula (D-Franklin), Assemblyman Nelson Albano (D-Vineland), Assemblyman Matt Milam (D-Cumberland), Assemblyman Albert Coutinho (D-Newark), Assemblywoman Caridad Rodriguez (D-West New York), and Assemblyman Ruben Ramos (D-Hoboken).
