315 East 62nd Street

Dylan’s Candy Bar, which claims to “merge the worlds of art and fashion with candy,” decided to take a more conservative view on office space. The company will remain at its current spot at 315 East 62nd Street, renewing its lease for 8,575 square feet for seven years.

Dylan’s has been in the building since its creation in 2001, and was founded by Dylan Lauren, daughter of designer Ralph Lauren and artist Ricky Lauren, which explains the slogan.

The asking rent was $45 per square foot. Alan Bonett of Adams & Co. represented the tenant. Daniel Breiman represented the landlord, Olmstead Properties, in-house.

Crain’s had news of the lease on June 15.
