DCCC expands ad buy: still no Adler

Politico is reporting that the DCCC has expanded its ad-buy to 60 districts nationwide in hopes of staving off Republican challenges to vulnerable incumbents. The party has committed some $49 million to the buys, Politico reports. But even the expanded list does not include 3rd District incumbent John Adler, the freshman representative many analysts say could be in danger.

Adler is facing ex-NFL star Jon Runyan, who has begun to pick up steam in his fundraising and whose pockets are deep should the need arise.  The lack of any ad money for Adler has some questioning whether the D-trip has already written off his seat.  The Adler camp counters that his seat is safe and his coffers are full so no national money is needed.

Here is the full Politico story.
