Same-sex couples may now apply to have their weddings broadcast on The Today Show! Now, like straight couples, they have a shot at being selected for the “Today Throws a Wedding” feature, which profiles the engaged and selects one lucky couple, reality-style, to be married on-air. And NBC picks up the check.
GLAAD spearheaded the effort to change NBC’s policy, and thus level the playing field when it comes to humiliating yourself for money.
