— Alexandra Donati, daughter of the late surrealist painter Enrico, whose works have graced the walls of MoMA and the Guggenheim (the latter to great art scandal, as visitors attempted to pick off pieces of paint from his canvas), has purchased her father’s $1.7 million home at 935 Park Avenue from her mother, Adele Schmidt. Ms. Donati, who already lives in the building, is taking over the deed.

— Michael F. Connor, a managing director of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and former man of importance at UBS, Salomon Brothers and General Re, has sold his Metropolitan building apartment for $4 million. Feast your eyes on Mr. Connor’s old East 90th Street home turf here.
