Knopf announced today that they have acquired the rights to Sonia Sotomayor’s memoir. Agent Peter Bernstein negotiated the deal, and George Andreou will be editing.
According to Knopf, the yet-untitled book will be “a coming-of-age memoir by an American daughter of Puerto Rican immigrants.”
“Sonia Sotomayor has lived a remarkable life and her achievements will prove an inspiration to readers around the world,” said Knopf Editor in Chief Sonny Mehta. “Hers is a triumph of the Latino experience in America.”
