Around this time of year, it’s easy to fall victim to heatstroke-induced laziness. But given the recent weather, your air conditioner is probably about to go on strike, so perhaps it’s time to put something more culturally exciting than staring at the ceiling fan on your calendar—and we have just the thing.
Artlog, the New Museum, BID and the New York Observer are teaming up to bring you Collect LES , a Lower East Side Artcrawl. This is the seventh event of its kind Artlog has organized, with previous open houses taking art enthusiasts to Dumbo, Williamsburg and Soho. The main event will run on Thursday, July 22nd from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and will offer organized tours and special receptions. Guests can check in at the New Museum or Woodward Gallery , before heading out to the crawl, which includes admission to Allegra Laviola Gallery, Feature Inc., Sloan Fine Art, Eleven Rivington and many more.
Tickets are $20, which gets you into after parties at two NYC hotspots as well as exhibitions at the New Museum and over 25 galleries. And if you weren’t already sold, let us sweeten the deal: our friends at Artlog are offering VSLers $5 off, just for being you. Use promo code VSL Artlog to redeem. Come on, don’t your eyes deserve something better to look at than the fan?
