The superintendent of the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) admitted to speeding on the Garden State Parkway last Friday and is getting a speeding ticket, according to reporter Brian Thompson of NBC. One of Rick Fuentes’  troopers stopped the super’s unmarked police car in Paramus on Friday afternoon.

Fuentes was doing 75 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone, Thompson reports.

The trooper didn’t issue Fuentes a ticket, but within hours of the stop, the police superintendent “self-reported it to the Office of Professional Standards,” which decided to issue him a ticket, according to the NJSP. NBC: Fuentes issued speeding ticket
