Charles Burton has been appointed chief of staff to Assemblyman and Democratic State Committee Chairman John Wisniewski (D-Sayreville). Burton previously worked for Rep. Rush Holt (D-Hopewell Twp.), the Burlington County Democrats and most recently the lobbying firm of former Labor Commissioner and Dick Codey aide A.J. Sabbath.
Former Wisniewski chief Nick Fixmer this past summer returned to the Union County Democrats.
