Warren Cohn now has a 41-vote lead over Lincoln Restler in the closely watched Brooklyn district leader race.
The Board of Election continues to recanvass the machines today. A source said that there remain over 300 ballots left to count, including 133 absentee ballots.
Restler centered his campaign on his desire to reform Brooklyn’s Democratic machine. Cohn has the backing of the county party’s leader, Vito Lopez.
