Though the campaign season is in full swing, we hope you’ll pause for a moment today to remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives on this day nine years ago.
It was the worst attack in our country’s history and yet we persevered as a nation and nine years later, little in our day to day lives has changed. While that is a testament to our unequaled strength it’s also evidence of our ability to forget. That should never be allowed happen.
So as you strategize today over the latest poll or the upcoming fundraiser, please take a moment to pause and remember: Attend a memorial, read the names of those who died, light a candle, take a quiet walk with your loved ones. But remember.
