Now that the primaries are over, we’ve received word that a number of high-placed staffers from some of the campaigns have gone on to greener pastures in some of the tight general election races around the country.

James Allen, the spokesman for Reshma Saujani’s Congressional campaign, emailed to say that he is off to work for John Carney, the Delaware lieutenant governor who is running for the at-large congressional seat vacated by Mike Castle. His opponent, Glen Urquhart is a Tea-Party favorite, who, thankfully for Allen, seems willing to debate.

Meanwhile, quick-quipping Barney Keller has left Lazio-land after Rick Lazio dropped out of the governor’s race and has announced that he is now deputy communications director for Pat Toomey, who is in a tight race against Democrat Joe Sestak for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania.

Not everyone has gone that far. Lauren Passalacqua, the ace spokeswoman for Eric Dinallo’s attorney general campaign, has ended up in the press shop for Andrew Cuomo’s gubernatorial bid.

Alix Anfang, who helped shepherd Carolyn Maloney to victory against Saujani, is now doing press for Eric Schneiderman for attorney general.

Best of luck to all of you, and if anyone hears of any more comings or goings, give us a holler.
