News Corp. reported Rupert Murdoch’s total compensation and take-home pay in a securities filing earlier this week. Today The Guardian boiled down some of the numbers.
For the year from June 2009 to June 2010, Mr Murdoch’s pay was the lowest it’s been since 2003. Mr. Murdoch’s salary hovered at $8.1 million dollars, but his performance-related bonus dropped to $4.4 million, down 20 percent from last year.
The 79-year-old billionaire’s total compensation, including stock and stock options, was valued at $22.7 million for the year. News Corp (NWSA). reported $2.5 billion in profits.
